Welcome

My name is Wenyu Ren (任问宇). I'm currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am doing research in the area of anomaly detection and data analysis for cyber-physical systems under the supervision of Prof. Klara Nahrstedt. I got my B.E. degree in Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University.


News

October 2018: My paper "EDMAND: Edge-Based Multi-Level Anomaly Detection for SCADA Networks" was published in IEEE SmartGridComm 2018.
August 2018: I finished my summer internship at Facebook in Seattle.
December 2017: I passed my preliminary examination.

October 2017: My paper "ISAAC: Intelligent Synchrophasor Data Real-Time Compression Framework for WAMS" was published in IEEE SmartGridComm 2017.

August 2016: I finished my summer internship at Facebook in Menlo Park.
July 2016: My paper "OLAF: Operation-Level Traffic Analyzer Framework for Smart Grid" was published in IEEE SmartGridComm 2016.
